Schoolhouse Arts Center presents “Greater Tuna,” a comedy by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears, and Ed Howard, and directed by Keith Halliburton, Oct. 13-29.

Greater Tuna is Texas’ third smallest town, where the Lion’s Club is too liberal, and Patsy Cline lives on forever. A small ensemble cast portrays the eclectic band of citizens, their children, and their animals in this hilarious satire on everyday life in rural, Bible-belt America. Few shows have sustained the popularity and longevity that Greater Tuna has enjoyed over the years. A San Francisco theater troupe introduced a production of Greater Tuna which ran continuously for seven, record-breaking years.

Catch the show at Schoolhouse on Friday and Saturday nights starting at 7:30 p.m., Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets are $14 for adults, and $12 for students/seniors. For more information and reservations call 642-3743.
