I’m pleased to announce that Southern Maine Community College has agreed to offer five college courses at SAD 6 next fall. This is a wonderful opportunity for district residents, and I hope one that we take full advantage of.
SMCC will market to currently enrolled students who live in the district, and we will advertise the courses in the Adult Education catalogue. As we look at the demographics of those who participate, I hope that we will be able to tailor future classes to those that people need for their degree programs.
