This is only a suggestion to the architects, Trumans or anyone in the Pine Point neighborhood for the neighborhood meeting coming up Aug. 1.

If the meeting could be held in the downstairs of the Pine Point Fire Station, I think more people will attend this meeting.

First: Ask the firemen at the Pine Point Fire Station if it would be possible to drive the fire trucks out, and chairs be brought downstairs – have the meeting downstairs.

Some people are handicapped – a cane, walker or wheelchair; some are afraid of heights; some don’t do stairs. There are many older people in the Pine Point neighborhood that might like to go, listen to people and make their comments.

I think this is an important suggestion for all to be able to attend.
