In the Town Council race, incumbents Sherrie Benner and Shonn Moulton will be challenged by Marla Stelk, a member of the Gorham Historic Preservation Committee, and Muhammad Kahn, a June graduate of Gorham High School.

For the School Committee, incumbents Darryl Wright and Timothy Burns are running unopposed for three-year terms. No one returned nomination papers for a one-year term to fill the vacancy left by John Doyle, who has resigned because he’s moving.

The municipal election is set for Tuesday, Nov. 3.
