A Buxton woman was killed in a single-vehicle car crash on County Road in Gorham Wednesday.
According to a Gorham Police Department press release, 39-year-old Jacee Johnston lost control of her car on the shoulder of the road and overcorrected, flipping the vehicle. The crash occurred at approximately 10:50 p.m.
Police said Johnston was not wearing her seatbelt, and according to witness statements, appeared distracted. Police said the accident is still under investigation.
