Audrey’s a month old

Audrey Rose Shaw was born to Kelly and Vinnie Shaw of Gorham on Sept. 20 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

She arrived weighing 5 pounds and 9.2 ounces. Audrey measured 20 inches long.

Grandparents are Jim and Rosemary Mains of Westbrook and Rosemary Shaw and the late Wayne Shaw of South Portland. Great grandparents are Sybil Douglass of Westbrook and Louise Crooker of Saco.

Chambers, Fusillo engagement

Kimberly and Dean Cummings and Michael and Maria Chambers, all of Gorham, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachel Elizabeth Chambers, GHS ’02, to Gregory Dio Fusillo of Westbrook.

The bride to be graduated from Gorham High School in 2002.

He is the son of Kathi Jensen, Windham; Robert Patten Jr., Westbrook and Michele Fusillo, Norway.

A wedding is planned for a later date.

Garden club to hear Audubon lecture

Linda Woodard, a Maine Audubon Society lecturer, will speak when the Gorham garden Club meets at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, at the First Parish Church on Church Street.

Woodard’s topic will be ‘Feeding and identifying winter birds.” The meeting is open to the public and all are welcome to attend.

The Bureau of Public Debt reported on Wednesday, Oct. 12, that the U.S. public debt was $7,990,630,428,327.25
