The National Scholarship Fund is accepting applications for college scholarships from youth who have grown up in foster care or have been adopted through the foster-care system in Maine.

The fund has concentrated its efforts over the past several months working toward creating an innovative model of funding dedicated to helping Maine’s young adults who have grown up in foster care receive a college education at an accredited institution of their choice.
