Occupants of two apartments in Westbrook are staying with family and friends following a fire just before 9 p.m. Saturday at 45 Dana Court.
Westbrook Fire Capt. Sam Webster said Sunday all the occupant got out without injury. He said an electrical problem between the second and third floor caused the fire.
Webster estimated damage at the two-unit home as $10,000 to $12,000. He said firefighters stayed on scene until 11:35 p.m.
Westbrook didn’t need assistance to extinguish the fire, but firefighters from Windham and Scarborough covered Westbrook fire stations.
