I believe that is the best type of a business for that area instead of a factory which could be noisier than a store.

This year I have been on the School Committee and I thought we cut as much as we could without hurting education.

The potential redevelopment of Saccarappa Park as a combination commercial building/public park (favors)

No matter what, something has to be done there because it looks bad now, maybe small development but a little park is important.

Paper streets have been a major source of contention in the city recently. How would you have dealt with residents’ complaints about old paper streets being used for development?

I would have brought them to to the administration and asked them to stop it while we take a step back and look at it more.

What can be done to help lower Westbrook property taxes?

A city-wide property revaluation and more economic development will help balance things and lower taxes.

What do you want to see done to improve parking in the city?

Parking is a problem and it will always be. I feel that the garage isn’t being used enough and could be used more.
