A busy Thanksgiving has passed with baskets going to 134 households. Now it is time to say thanks to some of the big helpers of the pantry in our business community. Hannaford, DRMS, Panera Bread and Bakery, Baker’s Bench, Evergreen Credit Union, BJ’s, Bouyea-Fassett Outlet are major players. Westbrook-Warren Congregational Church and Saint Anthony’s bring food bags every Tuesday.

The Girl Scouts and the Boy Scouts along with Congin, Pride’s Corner, and Wescott Junior High all did huge food drives. Even the little ones of Lollipop Lane came with bags on Basket Day. And very big thank you is owed to the crew of the Public Works who handle cheerfully the big loads of food every Tuesday as well as any special trips.

We are open every Tuesday noon to 2 and 6 to 7:30 in the old Sebago Moc building off Lincoln Street behind the (former) Eagles building. Stop in to see what is happening. Bring some food or volunteer. A last big thank you to Tim Flannery who continues to provide us space.
