Mary A. Douglass and Jeremy D. Miller were married on Sept. 10 at the South Coast Community Church in Scarborough. A reception followed at the Italian Heritage Center.

The bride is the daughter of Genella and Jeffrey Douglass of Baldwin. The groom, who grew up in Steep Falls, is the son of Teresa Ripley and Hallie Miller of Portland.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by both parents. Audrey Douglass, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and Elizabeth Sanborn, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

Adam Miller, brother of the groom was best man and Nicholas Sanborn, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer filling in for Nicholas Hennebury, nephew of the groom.

The bride, a graduate of Berean Christian Academy and Andover College, is a senior teacher at the May Institute.

The groom, also a graduate of Berean Christian Academy, is a customer service manager at Wal-Mart. The couple honeymooned in the White Mountains and reside in Yarmouth.
