In what’s becoming an annual tradition for Allied Real Estate, local agents presented a check worth $1,000 to the town of Windham last Friday morning. The money will help with the town clerk’s Christmas shopping campaign to provide toys for disadvantaged kids in Windham. The $1,000 donation, part of the 1 percent of overall revenue the real estate company gives to various charities each year, will be coupled with about $700 that visitors to the clerk’s office have donated during the past year. Town Clerk Linda Morrell and her assistants Judy Vance and Rita Bernier will shop at North Windham stores on Dec. 8.
