Key games: “Honestly? All of them!!!!” Curtis said. “Seriously, we look forward to the Gorham, Windham and Westbrook match ups because they are the local rivalry/derby games. Most of the players know each other from being in the same area and some know each other from playing club soccer in the winter and spring. We are also looking towards the games against South Portland, Cheverus, Thornton Academy and Noble as last year we felt at the time those were games we should have gotten a better result from, but due to an error of some kind, came away from the game with nothing.”

Season outlook: “At the moment we are very positive; the newness from last season is behind us and our returning players have a good idea of what their roles will be on the field and within the team,” said Curtis. “Our system of play has had more time to filter down to our younger players who are going to complement our established players very well. Top to bottom, we feel we are in a good position to challenge for honors this season and are looking forward to putting out our best against the other teams in the SMAA.”
