The University of Maine Cooperative Extension in Cumberland County is pleased to announce its popular Botanically Speaking series of horticulture courses for Winter/Spring 2006. Classes will include the following courses: Vegetable Gardening 101, Theme Gardens, Growing Small Fruits, and Pest Management 101. Participants will gain skills and knowledge to make them more confident and successful gardeners; work with knowledgeable, enthusiastic instructors; meet other gardeners; enjoy hands-on experience; and receive a useful reference notebook filled with valuable information. Class size is limited for each class, so early registration is advised.
