Southern Maine Agency on Aging Retired and Senior Volunteer Program is looking for volunteers age 55 and over for the following opportunities:

•Hospice volunteer: Compassion and caring are two requisites. A comprehensive training program is available for this opportunity.

•Docent or host/hostess in a 17th- century house.

•Clerical assistance, including greeting visitors, answering phones, note taking or filing, is needed at many sites.

•Assisting the police department in a variety of ways.
