Oct. 28: The Windham Historical Society will host a tour of six Windham cemeteries starting at the society’s headquarters at 234 Windham Center Road. Oct. 28: New Marblehead Manor, 21 Oak Lane, Windham, is having a holiday fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Crafts, baked goods, candy, raffle and “new but not so new” tables.
Oct. 28: The Royal River Chorus, an award-winning chapter of Sweet Adelines International and Maine’s premier chorus for women singers, presents Runnin’ Wild & Feelin’ Groovy, an a cappella extravaganza with Master Director Christine Ferguson. Oct. 29: Standish Recreation Department’s Annual Halloween Party at Standish Memorial Park. 2 to 4:30 p.m. $3 per child. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Oct. 30: Windham Cancer Support Group. Adults diagnosed with cancer and adult cancer survivors are invited to attend. Nov. 2: The Windham Child Care Providers will be sponsoring a workshop on “Fun and Easy Music Activities for Early Childhood” at 7 p.m. at the Windham Public Library. Nov. 2: The Standish Parent-Teacher Organization is hosting an Evening of Shopping from 5 to 9 p.m. at the George E. Jack School in Standish. More than 20 demonstrators from home shows and custom crafts will help you get a jump start on your Christmas shopping! A follow-up evening is planned for Thursday, Dec. 14 for order pick-ups.
