Portland Kitchen Tour organizers are adding two new tours: a Holiday Home Tour in Portland this week, a second Portland Kitchen Tour on the Friday and Saturday of Mother’s Day weekend, and a Scarborough Sip & See June 13 and 14.

“We are calling these three events ‘The Divine Series,’” said Marcy Boynton, one of the organizers, in a press release. “All will inspire creativity, spark your imagination, and delight your senses. Each tour is filled with beautiful homes, interior designers, kitchen contractors, gourmet chefs, authors, craft brewers and local wineries.”

“The two additions will provide even more opportunity and inspiration for improvement buffs, wine and craft beer lovers, and design enthusiasts,” Lana Wescott, another of the organizers, said in the press release.

The first of the new events, the Holiday Home Tour, will take place on Nov. 22 and 23. It will feature five private homes in Portland’s West End, each appointed for the holidays by an interior designer. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. A portion of each ticket sold benefits Gary’s House, Mercy Hospitals’ home away from home for families with a hospitalized loved one. Tickets and details are available at www.thedivineseries.eventbrite.com.
