Holiday meals

Food baskets are needed for families, individuals and senior citizens of Gray and New Gloucester at Thanksgiving and Christmas. The Caring Community of Gray-New Gloucester accepts applications for holiday assistance and then looks for volunteer sponsors to “adopt” a family/individual.

The CCGNG matches applicants with sponsors and provides information and guidelines for the sponsors so the sponsors know what to do and what is needed.

To provide a meal at Thanksgiving contact Kathy George at kgeorge2@maine.rr.com. To donate a Christmas food basket and gifts for children 18 and under, contact Mike Marcotte at gngcaring@gmail.com.

To make a donation send checks to CCGNG PO Box 1244 Gray, ME 04039.

If you need a holiday meal, applications for holiday assistance are available at all G-NG schools, both town halls and the Gray Public Library. Complete and return applications by Nov. 12.
