Fire and rescue
Between Aug. 14 and Aug. 20, the Cape Elizabeth Rescue squad transported seven patients to Maine Medical Center and three to Mercy Hospital.
On Aug. 14, the fire department responded to a fire alarm on Mitchell Road.
On Aug. 15, the fire department responded to a fire alarm on Spurwink Avenue.
On Aug. 16, at around 11:15 p.m., the fire department responded to a fire alarm on Mitchell Road.
On Aug. 18, at around 12:30 p.m., the fire department responded to wires sparking on Forest Road.
On Aug. 18, at around 7:30 p.m., the fire department responded to an outside equipment fire on Stonegate Road.
On Aug. 19, at around noon, the fire department responded to an alarm malfunction on Ocean House Road.

On Aug. 14, at around noon, a New Hampshire resident wanted to turn in two firearms found in his parents’ home. The guns were old and rusty and no longer wanted.
