Westbrook drivers (and all who cut-through our fair town)…you must remember that Stroudwater Street is a school zone! I am appalled at the speed to which so many drivers fly past our High School in the morning and afternoon and by-pass students waiting to cross in the crosswalks! Wake up, drivers…just because these are our older students doesn’t mean that they deserve anything less than our safe driving! One student was hit by a car in the fall, please don’t let it take a more serious accident in the school zone for you to slow down! Stroudwater Street, in a wide range near the high school, is 15 mph!
