For Windham Hill UCC Church, at 140 Windham Center Road, Windham, 2007 marks the 10th anniversary of their “Music On the Hill” Concert Series.
This year’s concert series will host a stellar line-up, starting on Saturday, July 7. Each weekend in July, these concerts bring professional musicians right to your doorstep here in the “Lakes Region.”
Opening the series on July 7: “Oldies” band David Angel and The Memories, returning for their second year. Come “rock-n-reminisce” while sounds of Berry, Valens, and Holly drift across the summer night.
The following weekend, “A Night of Broadway” is back for its seventh year; and they’ve added an extra evening of fabulous music for your enjoyment. Kelly Caufield-Ellis, Bryan McLeod, Jennifer McLeod and Matthew Small will be performing July 13, 14, and 15, accompanied by Daniel Strange.
None other than rocker Cindy Bullens will grace us with her first “Music On the Hill” performance on July 21. Cindy is well-known here in Maine, and on the international scene as well.
Rounding out our spectacular line-up is the Thomas Snow-Trent Austin Duo, who first appeared at “Music On the Hill” in 2004. Save July 28 for this sensational evening of jazz.
All shows start at 7 p.m. (except for July 15, which will start at 5 p.m.). Refreshments are served. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $8 for over 65/under 12. Series tickets are $35. Tickets can be found in advance at the Little Sebago Gallery and Frame, 889 Roosevelt Trail in Windham. For more information, call 893-1777.
