Free voice lessons
Royal River Chorus is sponsoring free vocal lessons in September.
The lessons are set for Thursday, Sept. 10, at 6:30 p.m. in the American Legion Hall,
17 Dunn St., Westbrook. Sweet Adelines International Master Director Wendi McPike will be teaching. Those interested can explore their voice, join in and see what it’s all about.

Free meals on the move
The weekly free community meal sponsored by Trinity Lutheran Church in Westbrook and supported by Wayside Food Services will be moving back to the My Place Teen Center, 755 Main St., on Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 5-6 p.m.
For many months, the meal has been held at the church while the kitchen and dining area has been renovated at the teen center.
The community meal has been cooked and served every week for almost five years by the volunteers of Trinity Lutheran Church, with food provided by Wayside Food Services. Trinity looks forward to the return to My Place Teen Center, where in addition to providing a free meal to the community, it also feeds dinner to the teens at the center.
