A seminar entitled, “Caring for Our Aging Loved Ones,” will be held on Thursday, Sept. 21, in South Portland, and Thursday, Sept. 28, in Saco. The seminars are co-sponsored by Saco & Biddeford Savings Institution and Southern Maine Agency on Aging.

The South Portland seminar will be held at the South Portland Public Library, on the corner of Broadway and Cottage Avenue, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The Saco seminar will be held at Dyer Library, on Main Street, also 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The talk is geared to people who are facing providing care to an aging relative or friend, and will focus on the two topics that people most often ask about – legal and financial issues and finding and accessing community resources.

The featured speakers are Martin C. Womer, an elder law and estate planning attorney with the law firm of Bergen & Parkinson in Kennebunk, and Ann O’Sullivan, family caregiver ppecialist with Southern Maine Agency on Aging.

Each seminar is free and open to the public. Participation is limited to the first 50 people who sign up for each session. Refreshments will be served.
