The driver of a flatbed loaded with cement blocks escaped serious injury at the intersection of Rte. 113 and Rte. 25 in Standish early Thursday morning. The flatbed was headed west when a pick-up pulled out of 113 into its path. The pick-up ended up in the field, partially under the flatbed. The driver was not seriously injured.

Traffic was diverted off 113 onto Job Road while Standish Fire and Rescue and the Cumberland Couty Sherriff’s Department supervised accident control.
