Gorham Municipal Offices and Baxter Memorial Library will be closed on Monday, in observance of Memorial Day.
Library plant, book sale
The North Gorham Public Library is sponsoring a plant and book sale 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, at the library in the North Gorham Fire Station, North Gorham Road.
Virginia Rundell, library director, said lots of plants and books – old and new – will be available. For more information, call Rundell at 892-2575.
Jewelry class at Art Guru
The Art Guru is holding a jewelry-making class, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, at 104 Main St.
Jeremy Greene, owner, said no prior experience would be necessary. Cost is $125 plus a $30 material fee, payable on the day of class.

Morneault awarded degree
Bethany Ann Morneault of Gorham received a bachelor of science degree, cum laude, in Special Education and Elementary Education, during Salve Regina University commencement, May 13 in Newport, R.I.
Morneault is a member of Delta Epsilon Sigma, the national scholastic honor society at colleges and universities with a Roman Catholic tradition.
