LEWISTON – Scarborough pole vaulters Catherine Bailey and Andrea Tolman finished second and fifth, respectively, to life the Red Storm to Class A outdoor track and field state title Wednesday at Bates College.

The pole vault event was postponed from Saturday’s championship at Windham High School due to rain.

On the boys side, Scarborough’s Kevin Manning won the event with a jump of 13 feet. The Red Storm boys finished fifth. Sanford won the boys team title, the school’s first.
