A little help from our friends

A visit by Gov. John Baldacci to Malcolm and Mary Lyons’ house on Windham Center Road in Windham Thursday afternoon drew national and international attention as Maine’s governor and Citgo CEO Felix Rodriguez signed a trade deal for 8 million gallons of discounted Venezuelan oil to help seniors and low-income Mainers keep warm this winter. From left are Rep. Mark Bryant, Malcolm Lyons, Baldacci, and Mary Lyons. The Lyons were the first Mainers to receive the imported oil as part of PROP’s fuel assistance program.
