BRUNSWICK — Andrew Bertolini scored from Joe Graziano with 1:13 remaining in overtime Friday night, giving York a 3-2 victory against Brunswick in a boys’ hockey game at Watson Arena.
Brunswick (6-9) trailed 2-0 with nine minutes left in regulation before Andrew Eno scored, then set up Jack St. Pierre for the tying goal with 2:20 to go.
Dalton McCann added a goal in the third period for York (10-4).
GIRLS’ HOCKEY
LEWISTON 3, WINSLOW 1: Madison Conley broke a scoreless tie midway through the second period from Gemma Landry and top-ranked Lewiston/Monmouth Academy/Oak Hill (17-2) went on to beat fourth-seeded Winslow/Gardiner (12-7-1) in a North semifinal at Lewiston.
Landry scored with 31.6 seconds left in the second period to make it 2-0.
Anna Chadwick scored 2:32 into the third for Winslow to cut into the lead, but Grace Dumond scored with just over five minutes left for Lewiston to make it 3-1.
The Blue Devils will play in the regional final Wednesday against the winner of the Greely/St. Dominic game Saturday.
THURSDAY’S BOYS’ BASKETBALL
GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 55, FREEPORT 52: John Martin came up with 15 of his 20 points in the second half to help the Patriots (11-7) defeat the Falcons (10-8) in a regular-season finale at Freeport.
Josiah Rottari scored 15 points, including four 3-pointers, and Nick Pelletier contributed eight of his 11 points in the fourth quarter for the Patriots.
Martin and Pelletier each had three 3-pointers.
Toby Holt had 16 points, Ethan Sclar added 14 and Erik Shea finished with 12 for Freeport.
THURSDAY’S GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
GORHAM 58, THORNTON ACADEMY 23: Mackenzie Holmes finished with 28 points as the Rams (11-7) handled the Golden Trojans (5-13) at Saco.
Michelle Rowe added 11 points for Gorham, which pulled away with a 26-5 run in the second quarter for a 36-13 halftime lead.
Alexis Sanders had seven points and Alexandra Hart scored six for Thornton.
