Julia Brooke Chapdelaine
DUDLEY, Mass. – Julia Brooke Chapdelaine, 22, a senior at University of New England in Biddeford, died tragically Wednesday Nov. 29, 2023 in a automobile accident in South Portland.
Julia was born March 21, 2001 in Port Charlotte, Fla. and lived most of her life in Dudley, Mass.
She is survived by her parents Gerald and Kara (Nelson) Chapdelaine Jr.; one sister, Camden Chapdelaine of Dudley, Mass.; maternal grandparents, Nancy and Cliff Hobbins of Portsmouth, R.I.; great-grandmother, Carol Brooks of Fryeburg.
Predeceased by grandfather, Corey Nelson of Upton, Mass.; Uncle Adam, Aunt Jillian; cousins James, Riley, and Chase Hobbins of Scituate, R.I.; aunt, Mary Rose Hobbins of E. Providence, R.I.; paternal grandparents, Gerald and Rita Chapdelaine Sr. of Englewood, Fla.; aunt, Renee Recchilongo; cousins Gabriel, his daughter Magnolia, and Nathaniel Bellmore of Englewood, Fla.;
many extended family members and an overwhelming number of friends near and far.
Julia was a senior, studying Public Health, and will receive her degree posthumously from the University of New England in the spring.
She was a graduate of Shepherd Hill Regional High School class of 2019; a proud member of Fantasy and Illusion show choirs and Field Hockey team at the Hill.
Julia lit up every room she entered with her beautiful smile. She lived life to the fullest with the kindest soul. Her family and friends were her entire world. She will always be loved and never forgotten.
