SHAPLEIGH – Jennifer Morgan Rodgers, 36, of Shapleigh, Maine passed unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023. She was born on Oct. 14, 1987 in Biddeford.

She is survived by her husband, Matthew Rodgers, their 3-year-old son, Hazen Rodgers; her mother, Denise Foglio; siblings Josie Higgins, Kelly Flagler and her husband Stephen, and her brother, Jack Higgins; her grandfathers Doug Foglio Sr., William Higgins; and many loving aunts, uncles; and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father, Scott Higgins; grandmothers JoAnne Foglio and Carolyn Higgins.

She was a devoted wife, loving mother and compassionate nurse. Her brilliant smile and infectious laughter has graced all of those who have ever had the pleasure of being in her presence.

Calling hours will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 16 at Bibber Memorial Chapel in Kennebunk. A memorial service and a time to share remembrances will follow at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Pine Grove South in Waterboro. Family and friends are welcome to gather for a reception following the burial.
