Hunter Dickinson added 14 and 11 rebounds for the Jayhawks, who appeared to be caught looking ahead — or behind — in a pitfall-type game between their win over No. 5 UConn last week and their game against bitter rival Missouri on Saturday.

(20) ILLINOIS 98, (11) FLORIDA ATLANTIC 89: Marcus Domask scored 33 points and Terrence Shannon Jr. had 31, both career highs, as the Fighting Illini (7-1) shot 63% and surged ahead in the second half for a victory over the Owls (7-2) in the Jimmy V Classic in New York.

Playing in this event for the second consecutive year, the Fighting Illini won their fifth straight game thanks to Domask and Shannon, who combined for 47 points after halftime and were a combined 25 of 35 from the field.

(17) TENNESSEE 87, GEORGE MASON 66: Jonas Aidoo scored a career-high 17 points and the Volunteers (5-3) rediscovered their defense in a victory over the Patriots (7-2) in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Josiah-Jordan James added 15 points, Tobe Awaka added 11 and Dalton Knecht had 10 as the Vols snapped a three-game losing streak.

(23) WISCONSIN 70, MICHIGAN STATE 57: AJ Storr matched a season high with 22 points and Steven Crowl scored a season-high 18 points, leading the Badgers (7-2, 1-0 Big Ten) to a win over the Spartans (4-4, 0-1) in East Lansing, Michigan.

The Badgers have won six straight and didn’t trail for a second straight game, including a win over then-No. 3 Marquette.

The Spartans got off to a bad start and struggled to make 3-pointers, troubling trends for coach Tom Izzo as he searches for answers with a team that was ranked No. 4 in the preseason.

PENN STATE: Defensive end Chop Robinson has decided to declare for the 2024 NFL draft.

Robinson, who made his announcement on his social media platforms, recorded three sacks and 18 quarterback hurries this season. The 6-foot-3, 254-pound junior from Gaithersburg, Maryland, started every game.

“From one dream to the next, I am excited to continue this next chapter,” Robinson wrote.

Robinson has been projected as a first-round pick. He doesn’t plan to play in the Nittany Lions’ game against Mississippi in the Peach Bowl.
