The store presents a diverse range of menu items like, freshly-made grab-and-go options, encompassing entrees, appetizers, side dishes, sandwiches, and salads. Hannaford To Go allows Scarborough area shoppers to order groceries online for pickup or delivery in as little as four hours. The store at the Payne Road store also includes a full-service pharmacy.
Hannaford made a total of $10,000 in donations to two local hunger relief organizations, the Scarborough Food Pantry and the South Portland Food Cupboard, according to the press release.
Hannaford Payne Road Store Manager Ken Kirouac said, “As a committed community partner, Hannaford believes in nourishing our communities, including increasing access to healthy foods. We are pleased to support these organizations with this donation and thank the Scarborough community for extending such a warm welcome to our associates.”
Kirouac said Hannaford’s dedication to fighting hunger extends to all its stores, with regular food donations to local hunger relief organizations and support for local nonprofits and schools. In 2022, Hannaford donated more than 25 million pounds of food to hunger relief organizations and prevented 65 million pounds of food waste from reaching landfills.
