LYMAN – Frank M. Mullen, 74, of Ray Avenue, passed away Saturday, Oct. 14, 2023, at his residence. He was born Nov. 12, 1948, the son of Harold and Helen Crocker Mullen.

Frank attended the Maine Maritime Academy and later from the University of Illinois. He was employed for many years as an Engineer in Construction.

Frank, when he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, was the youngest in the State of Maine.

He was a 50-year member and Past Master of Orchard Lodge #215 and past member of the Kiwanis Club of Old Orchard Beach.

Frank enjoyed carpentry and cooking.

Survivors include his wife of 19 years Rachel Oliver Mullen of Lyman, two sons Eric Mullen of Somerset, N.J., Matthew Mullen of Lake Tahoe, and stepson Gregory Hodgdon of Biddeford, two daughters, Dawna Schmidt of Saco and Tammy Bennett of Scarborough, a sister Susan Hague of Oakland, 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours are to be held Saturday October 21, 2023 from 1 to 2 p.m., at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 13 Portland Road, Buxton.

A Masonic Funeral service will be performed by Orchard Lodge #215 at 2 p.m., all are invited to attend.
