South Portland got touchdown runs from Easton Healy, Matthew Berry, Connor Gerard and Matthew Frey and made a key goal-line stand late in the first half as the Red Riots handed Kennebunk its first loss of the season, 27-6, in an interclass football game Friday night in South Portland.
Class A South Portland (3-4) led throughout after Healy’s 5-yard keeper less than five minutes into the game.
Class B Kennebunk scored on a 10-yard option pass from Jaiden Homa to quarterback Gray Compton early in the second quarter, but the conversion kick failed, so the Rams still trailed, 7-6.
Berry made it 14-6 with a 27-yard run late in the second quarter. Kennebunk quickly drove down field, only to fumble the ball away on fourth-and-goal at the 2.
Gerard broke it open with a 6-yard touchdown run late in the third quarter, and Frey capped the scoring with a 1-yard run in the fourth.
OXFORD HILLS 35, WINDHAM 14: Jake Carson and Hunter Tardiff each rushed for a pair of touchdowns as the Vikings (5-2) beat the Eagles (4-3) in Paris.
Windham took the lead when Ayden Cofone returned the opening kick for a touchdown. Oxford Hills quickly answered with a touchdown pass from Brady Truman to Nick Binette, then took the lead when Carson scored late in the first quarter.
Carson added a second touchdown in the second quarter to make it 21-7 before Finn Smith caught a touchdown pass from Garrett Winslow to bring Windham within 21-14 at halftime.
Tardiff then scored in the third and the fourth quarter as the Vikings pulled away.
BONNY EAGLE 56, SANFORD 7: Terrell Edwards rushed for four touchdowns and passed for another, and the Scots (4-3) cruised to a win over the Spartans (3-3-1) in Sanford.
Edwards scored on a 3-yard run in the first quarter, an 8-yard run in the second quarter, and runs of 3 and 5 yards in the third. He also threw a 13-yard scoring pass to Ben Augustino in the second quarter.
Connor Johnson added a 25-yard TD run in the second, and Colin Moran had a 1-yard run in the fourth.
Rhylen Avery caught a 50-yard touchdown pass from Carter Buswell in the second quarter for Sanford.
GORHAM 20, DEERING 0: Aiden Lee took the opening kickoff 78 yards for a touchdown, and quarterback Garrett Poulin had two scoring runs in the second quarter as Gorham (2-5) beat Deering (4-3) in a Class B South game at Deering’s Memorial Field.
Poulin scored on runs of 2 and 5 yards.
FRYEBURG ACADEMY 39, POLAND 7: Cohen Carter passed for three touchdowns, including a 31-yard strike to Logan Walton, as the Raiders (6-1) cruised to a win over the Knights (4-3) in Fryeburg.
Malik Sow had a 25-yard touchdown run. Gunnar Saunders added a 3-yard TD run and Carter threw scoring passes to Freddie Francis and Idan Or.
Poland’s Damon Martin threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Nick Aube in the fourth quarter.
OLD ORCHARD BEACH 64, MT. VIEW 13: Wes Gallant had four long touchdown runs and finished with five TDs, and the Seagulls (7-0) completed an undefeated regular season by routing the Mustangs (0-7) in an eight-man game at Old Orchard Beach.
Gallant had scoring runs of 53, 1, 49, 60 and 67 yards. Four of his TDs came in the first half as the Seagulls built a 52-0 lead.
Riley Provencher scored on a 67-yard punt return and a 35-yard reception from Brady Plante, Kooper Gervais caught two long TD passes, and Asher Hubert returned a fumble for a touchdown.
Wyatt Evensen scored both Mt. View touchdowns, on runs of 64 and 18 yards.
FOXCROFT ACADEMY 56, FREEPORT 6: Wyatt Rayfield threw three touchdown passes to Jaden Richard in the first half, Gabe Beaudry rushed for three touchdowns, and the Ponies (7-0) rolled past the Falcons (2-5) in Dover-Foxcroft.
Rayfield and Richard connected for the game’s first two touchdowns – first from 40 yards, then a diving 29-yard catch.
Beaudry’s first TD, from the 3, made it 21-0 after one quarter.
Foxcroft extended the lead to 35-0 on a 1-yard run by Finn Holmes and a 4-yard reception by Richard.
Just before halftime, Freeport scored the first touchdown allowed this season by Foxcroft’s defense – a 24-yard pass from Theodore Peters to David Ulrickson.
Beaudry had scoring runs of 22 and 46 yards in the third quarter, sandwiched around Jacob Johnson’s 2-yard touchdown run.
GIRLS’ SOCCER
FALMOUTH 1, GORHAM 1: Mackenzie VerLee opened the scoring with a goal in the 15th minute for Falmouth (8-2-2), but Bailey Hatch answered on a feed from Kaitlyn Nichols with 12 minutes to play for Gorham (10-1-2) as the teams played to a draw in Gorham.
Madison VerLee made seven saves for Falmouth. Lily Reuben and Sawyer VondarHarr split time in goal for Gorham, combining for six saves.
CHEVERUS 2, WINDHAM 2: Mackenzie Delewski scored with about 15 minutes remaining in regulation to help Windham (10-3-1) earn a draw against visiting Cheverus (9-3-2).
Cheverus went ahead 2-1 in the first half on goals by Sophia Monfa and Annie Vigue.
Neve Ledbetter got Windham’s other goal.
Evelyn Rush stopped 10 shots for Cheverus. Ale Hidell made seven saves for the Eagles.
DEERING 1, WESTBROOK 0: Elsa Freeman scored from about 6 yards out late in the first half, and Sophie Hill made seven saves as the Rams (3-8-1) shut out the Blue Blazes (0-10-2) in Westbrook.
DIRIGO 3, WISCASSET 0: Sophie Nino scored all three goals – one in the first half and two in the second – as the Cougars (3-8) beat the Wolverines (2-8) in Wiscasset.
Madison Knowles stopped 14 shots for her first shutout. Autumn Knox assisted on the first goal.
BOYS’ SOCCER
WINDHAM 4, BONNY EAGLE 0: Nick Marion got a hat trick, Lucas Hammond stopped six shots for his seventh shutout of the season, and the Eagles (13-0-1) downed the Scots (7-6-1) in Windham.
Luke Cunniffe also scored, and Sam Rogers and Hunter Simpson were each credited with an assist.
Ryder Owens made 11 saves for Bonny Eagle.
MT. ABRAM 1, GREELY 0: Bear Rollins finished a rebound with nine minutes left, and the Class C Roadrunners (13-0) held on to beat the Class B Rangers (8-4-1) in Cumberland.
Logan Dube made six saves for Mt. Abram, while Landon Dominski stopped three shots for Greely.
LEAVITT 5, LAKE REGION 2: Logan Berube scored twice and added an assist as the Hornets (4-10) beat the Lakers (1-12) in Naples.
Brayden Greenlaw chipped in with a goal and an assist. Max Thibault and Bradley Dupile were the other Leavitt goal scorers, and Serogzha Bezhenar recorded an assist.
Leavitt keeper Alex Corey made eight saves.
Dylan Blair and Sam Burnham got Lake Region’s goals, and Justen McCubrey made 11 saves.
ST. DOMINIC 6, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Matt Fecteau and Donel Tangliamisu scored two goals apiece, and the Saints (4-7-1) downed the Hawks (0-13) in Auburn.
Connor Cyr and Tim Ouellette added a goal apiece.

CHEVERUS 10, SOUTH PORTLAND/WESTBROOK 0: Lucy Johnson had three goals and two assists as the Stags (13-0) cruised past the Red Riots (2-11) in South Portland.
Joey Pompeo and Sydney Brunelle tossed in two goals apiece. Zoe Radford, Caroline Rousseau and Mikayla Talbot also scored.
Emily Keefe recorded 32 saves for South Portland/Westbrook.
BIDDEFORD 3, MASSABESIC 0: Riley Langevin scored twice and Ayla Lagasse had a goal and an assist as the Tigers (10-4) beat the Mustangs (7-5-1) in Waterboro.
Lydia Suhey made 18 saves for Massabesic.
GORHAM 8, WINDHAM 1: Brooke Farquhar had four goals and an assist as the Rams (12-1) handled the Eagles (4-8) in Gorham.
Natalie Miner added two goals, Annabelle Collier also scored, and Hannah Bickford had two assists. Gorham keeper Madison Tibbals stopped five shots.
Grace Joly scored and Olivia McPherson made 14 saves for Windham.
