Standish Historical Society’s annual Spirit Fest is set for Friday, Oct. 13, and Saturday, Oct. 14.
The festival begins with a church cemetery tour at 4 p.m. Friday, followed by a paranormal investigation at the church from 6 to 10 p.m.
On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., local vendors will offer “ways for visitors to explore mind, body and spirit.” At noon, 1 and 2 p.m., guided tours of the church will be provided. A scavenger hunt in the church will take place at 3 p.m., a cemetery tour at 5 p.m. and finally, another paranormal investigation of the church from 6 to 10 p.m.
Tickets for the paranormal investigation are $45 at afterlifeparanormal.ticketleap.com. Proceeds go to the upkeep of the church and cemetery. Cider, coffee and snacks will be available. The church is located at 55 Oak Hill Road.
