Andrew Mackie, executive director of the Scarborough Land Trust, will speak on “The Future of Conservation in Scarborough” at the Hillcrest Recreation Center in Scarborough on Thursday, Oct. 19.

The lecture, hosted by the Scarborough Garden Club, will take place from 12:30 to 2 p.m. The recreation center is located at 108 Hillcrest Ave.
