The Cape Community Arena Group, the nonprofit that operated a temporary ice rink in Cape Elizabeth last winter, has launched a Friends of the Rink campaign to fund open skate time and other programming this season.
Last year’s rink operation costs was covered by one donor. This year’s costs can be funded by renting out ice time, but donations can help keep it open to the public as much as possible, according to the arena group.
