The Raymond Fire and Rescue Department will host an open house from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 12, in honor of Fire Safety Month.

Staff will give demonstrations of CPR, the use of fire extinguishers, escaping in emergencies, kitchen fire safety and more. Fire trucks will be out for “Touch-A-Truck.” Free blood pressure readings will be available, as well as free food and drinks.

The fire station is located at 1443 Roosevelt Trail.
