Watch the South Portland candidates forum
To the editor,
South Portlanders have an opportunity to hear from candidates for city council on Monday, Oct. 2 at 6 p.m. in a forum hosted by the non-partisan League of Women Voters. The forum will be held in the city council chambers at South Portland City Hall, and the public is welcome and urged to attend in person or watch on SPC-TV.
The election is important because city government is the most basic, grassroots level of democracy, affecting many aspects of life in our community.
