The Tinkerbus, a brainchild of Fiddlehead Center for the Arts’ Executive Director Oona Gilles-Weil, and her husband, is a 26-foot school bus transformed into a dynamic classroom and project space. Its arrival in Scarborough in April has opened doors to more exciting learning opportunities and capacity for Fiddlehead.

“The Tinkerbus represents our commitment to redefining learning experiences, making education an exciting journey accessible to all,” Gilles-Weil said. “I am thrilled that we can now bring these innovative learning experiences to different people in various communities, expanding our reach and inspiring the love of learning wherever we go.”

Fiddlehead Center for the Arts, based in Scarborough since 2007, has been dedicated to integrating art and science through a STEAM-focused approach.
