Hayden Ouellette connected with Logan McMann for a 36-yard scoring pass, his third of the game, and John Bapst edged Freeport, 27-20, on Monday night in Hermon.
McMann opened the game with a 76-yard kickoff return for John Bapst (2-2) and added a 18-yard touchdown catch.
Teddy Peters had three rushing touchdowns for Freeport (2-1).

THORNTON ACADEMY 3, SCARBOROUGH 2: Leila True scored 2:30 into the first overtime as the Golden Trojans (3-1) edged the Red Storm (3-1) at Scarborough.
Charlotte Belanger scored with 20 minutes left in regulation to break a scoreless tie and Quincy Thibault added a goal five minutes later to open a 2-0 lead for Thornton Academy.
Lana Djuranovic scored for Scarborough with 10 minutes to play and Delia Fravert scored on a header with nine seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime.
WAYNFLETE 8, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Morgan Earls scored three goals to lead the Flyers win over the Seagulls.
Lucy Hart and Naomi Rice had two goals apiece for Waynflete (4-1), while Lucy Olsen scored one and Fallon Culley added a pair of assists.
Sierra Ordway and Madison Duplisea of Old Orchard Beach (1-3) combined for 15 saves, while Leah Noone made one save for the Flyers.
KENNEBUNK 5, BIDDEFORD 1: Teegan Hanson had two goals to lead the Rams (1-4) over the visiting Tigers (1-4) at Kennebunk.
Ivy Armentrout, Anna McCarron and Sophia Notine added goals for Kennebunk, while Kendall Therrien had two assists. Abby Bouffard scored for Biddeford.

LAKE REGION 1, CAPE ELIZABETH 0: Mallory Smith scored on a feed from Mya King and Lake Region (3-1-1) held on for a win over visiting Cape Elizabeth (4-2).
Zoe Burgard had three saves for Cape Elizabeth, while Reiyn Hart turned aside all 13 shots faced for Lake Region.
MT. ARARAT 5, BRUNSWICK 0: Lydia Hiltz had a pair of first-half goals as the Mt. Ararat (4-1) opened a 3-0 halftime edge and beat Brunswick (1-4) 5-0 at Topsham.
Phoebe Fitzpatrick had a goal in each half for the Eagles, while Audrey Marchildon scored in the fourth quarter.
VOLLEYBALL
YARMOUTH 3, CAPE ELIZABETH 2: Grace Keaney had 10 kills and Ella Cameron had nine kills as the Clippers (1-3) rallied from two games down to beat the Capers (3-1) in Cape Elizabeth.
The Clippers lost the first two sets 25-21 and 25-18, then rallied with 25-20, 25-18 wins to pull even before winning the fifth-set tiebreaker, 15-9.
