SCARBOROUGH — Scarborough police responded to an emergency call reporting a motorcycle accident on Sept. 14.
The lone operator, 52-year-old Brian Buck was found dead at the scene when officers and members of the Scarborough Fire Department responded to the call which was received at about 5:39 a.m. around 93 Broadturn Road, according to police.
No other vehicles are believed to have been involved. Speed does appear to have been a factor, police said.
Broadturn Road between Route 1 and Ash Swamp Road was closed for several hours while members of the Scarborough Police Department and a reconstructionist team from the Windham Police Department investigated the crash. Broadturn Road was reopened by 9:20 a.m.
