A creamery and cafe has opened on Route 1 in Yarmouth at the former location of Maple’s Bakery and Coffee in Yarmouth.
Honeycone Ice Cream Social serves homemade ice cream and frozen treats, ice cream flights, locally sourced handcrafted drinks and small-batch baked goods. Gluten- and dairy-free options are also available.
Ice cream flavors change daily and include Honeycone’s signature “The Beezzz Kneezzz” with a vanilla ice cream base, gluten-free graham crackers and honeycomb.
Honeycone owner Joyce Chittick hopes her shop will become a community gathering space and plans to host live music and birthday parties and other private events. There’s also an outdoor seating area with gardens, lawn games and fire pits.
The business, at 881 Route 1, is open from noon to 8 p.m. daily.
