SOUTH PORTLAND – Daniel Jefferson Lord, 60, South Portland, passed away Aug. 24, 2023 after a short illness. Born in Portland, Nov. 23, 1962.

Daniel was a simple man with unpretentious tastes. He loved a good movie, a steady job, dogs, friends and family. When illness called him home to his reward it was this unaffected, honest life he fought so bravely to keep.

Daniel was predeceased by his precious mother to whom he was devoted, Noreen Lord Waltman, father, Dexter Lord, stepfather, Harold Waltman; his brothers David, Peter and Paul Lord.

Danny is survived by his only sister, Yvette Nason, brothers Devon Lord, Shyon Waltman; and his former wife, Beverly, whom he kept close to his heart.

A Celebration of Life at Coppersmith’s in South Portland Sept. 17, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Interment at Highland Memorial Cemetery Sept. 24 at 1 p.m.
