MADISON — A 61-year-old man was arrested Friday in the death of an Anson man whose body was found in his vehicle in July, the state Department of Public Safety announced.
Roland Flood of Madison was charged with murder and taken to the Somerset County Jail in East Madison where he was being held without bail, according to a news release issued by Shannon Moss, spokeswoman for the Department of Public Safety.
He’s accused of killing 57-year-old Mark Trabue, whose body was found July 8 in the vehicle at a cemetery on East Houghton Street in Madison, Moss said.
The state medical examiner’s office determined his death was a homicide and Moss said the cause of death is not being released at this time.
Flood and Trabue had lived together in Anson shortly before Trabue’s body was found, Moss said.
Anson and Madison are next to one another, separated by the Kennebec River. No other information was provided by authorities Friday.
