CUMBERLAND – Alice M. Goodwin, 80, of Cumberland, passed away on June 14, 2023.

She was born Nov. 4, 1942, daughter to the late William L. Goodwin Sr. and Lois E. (Scribner) Goodwin. Alice graduated from Portland High School, class of 1961.

Alice began her medical secretarial career shortly after high school and retired in 2009 from Plastic and Hand Surgical Associates.

Alice is survived by her brother, John T. Goodwin.

She was predeceased by her parents; and siblings Richard Harris Sr., B. Irene Harris, William L. Goodwin Jr., Elizabeth Goodwin Wilson, Robert C. Goodwin, Margaret R. Goodwin, and Estelle Goodwin Backus.

The family would like to express their profound gratitude to the owners and entire staff of The Heron House, Cumberland Foreside. They provided assisted living, nursing, and hospice care while exhibiting outstanding personal and professional deportment.

In accordance with Alice’s instructions, there will be no funeral services.
