Waynflete senior Myles Culley, who tied a state record by scoring 52 goals while leading the Flyers to the Class C state title last fall, has been named Maine’s Gatorade boys’ soccer Player of the Year. Culley is the first Waynflete player to earn that honor.
Culley also added 15 assists and has volunteered locally as part of multiple community service initiatives through the Waynflete Active Community Engagement group. Culley has maintained an ‘A’ average in the classroom. He will attend Colby College this fall, where he will play soccer.
