Thornton Academy trustee and parent Angela Bolduc reaches deep into the raffle drum during the May 20 Thornton Fund Auction. The drawing featured a top prize of $10,000. Held on the TA campus, this year’s auction has raised $106,633 to date. The event supports academic and extracurricular programming, as well as funding for the Headmaster’s Student Assistance Fund that helps students who are food insecure or may need basic necessities, such as eye glasses, winter coats, and internet access. “The auction helps provide some of the most basic needs, including breakfast and lunch for many who would go without,” said Haley Thompson, the school’s director of development. “This is possible only through the generosity of our donors and sponsors, and we are incredibly grateful for their support.” Courtesy photo
