PORT ORANGE, Fla. – Eileen Dyer Garsoe Gerry, born Sept. 7, 1919, in Rumford, died April 27, 2023, in Port Orange, Fla.

She was the daughter of the late William J. Dyer of Boston, Mass. and Beatrice Garsoe (stepdaughter of Julius Garsoe); widow of Curtis K. Gerry.

She attended Deering High School, Westbrook Junior College and Gorham Teachers College.

She is survived by daughter, Claudia Cusack of Florida, and son, Dana Gerry of Idaho; also survived by several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son, Thomas Waite Gerry, of Maine.
