When I learned that two women I know well are running for the Falmouth School Board, I decided to weigh in. Analiese Larson was chairperson of the board during my tenure in Falmouth as superintendent and I came to greatly admire and appreciate her leadership qualities. She brought professionalism, positive energy, savvy interpersonal skills, and keen intellect to her role. Emily Martin I know primarily as the very energetic mom of three who is an ardent supporter of the Falmouth school teachers and community, having grown up in town. She is now offering her time as a volunteer board member, bringing passion for excellence in education and continuous improvement, all with an eye to fiscal responsibility and responsible management practices. I strongly encourage you to write in Analiese Larson and Emily Martin on June 13 to continue Falmouth’s excellent reputation.
